Verdict
User Profiles
I recently tried out LDS Planet, a dating site for those of the Mormon faith. I was expecting to find some great profiles and meet interesting people, but unfortunately my experience wasn’t that positive.
The user profiles are public so anyone can view them without signing up or logging in. You can set a custom bio if you want to add more information about yourself but there’s no way to hide your location info from other users – it’s listed on every profile page which isn’t ideal when it comes to online safety and privacy concerns! There also doesn’t seem any indication of how far away someone is located from you; all we get is their city/state which makes narrowing down potential matches quite difficult.
As for benefits with premium subscriptions? Well let me tell ya – not much at all! Sure they offer access to message read receipts (which seems kinda unnecessary) as well as being able highlight your profile in search results…but that’s pretty much it…so don’t expect too many bells & whistles here folks!
During my time using this website I did come across one or two fake accounts, though thankfully nothing serious enough where I had second thoughts about continuing use the service – just something worth mentioning nonetheless.. All-in-all however LDS Planet left me feeling rather underwhelmed by its lacklustre features & limited options available compared with other dating sites out there today…and frankly speaking? That ain’t gonna cut the mustard now is it?!
