User Profiles
If you’re looking for a dating app, lespark isn’t the one. I tried it out and was sorely disappointed with its user profiles. To start off, all of the profiles are public so anyone can view them – there’s no privacy setting or anything like that to protect your information from prying eyes. You also can’t set up a custom bio which is kind of annoying since that would be helpful in making sure potential matches know who they’re talking to right away!
The location info on each profile isn’t great either; not only does it list where someone lives but how far away they are too – talk about oversharing! It doesn’t give you any indication as to whether this person is close by or miles away…so if distance matters then this won’t help at all. And unfortunately there’s no way to hide your location info either – even with a premium subscription (which has other benefits).
Speaking of fake profiles…yep, those exist here too! As soon as I started using lespark I encountered quite a few sketchy ones and had some really strange conversations because of it – definitely not what you want when trying out an online dating site/app!. All in all, unless being able to see everyone else’s exact address without having control over yours sounds appealing then steer clear from lespark ’cause trust me: ain’t nobody got time for dat drama!.
