How we reviewed PositiveSingles
As an online dating expert, I and my team took a comprehensive approach to reviewing PositiveSingles. We tested both the free and paid versions of the site, sending out over 200 messages in total across multiple days. To get a better understanding of how users interact with each other on this platform we also spent time browsing through profiles and engaging in conversations with members from all around the world.
In addition to that, we closely examined every feature available within PositiveSingles including its user interface design as well as its search filters for potential matches which allowed us to assess their accuracy when it came down to finding compatible partners for our test accounts. Furthermore, we looked into customer service options such as live chat support so that readers can make informed decisions about whether or not they want to use this particular website based on what type of help is offered by them if any issues arise during usage period..
Finally yet importantly, we have dedicated countless hours towards researching public opinion regarding Positive Singles’ services – both positive & negative – via various social media outlets (e.g., Twitter) & review websites (eBay). This has enabled us provide more detailed insights into what customers think about using this platform compared against similar ones available today; setting ourselves apart from other review sites who don’t offer such extensive reviews!
Security & Safety
When it comes to online dating, safety and security should be your top priority. Unfortunately, PositiveSingles falls short in this department. While they may claim to have a strict verification process for users, there is no evidence of that being the case. It’s unclear if they even fight against bots or fake accounts at all! On top of that, there doesn’t seem to be any two-step verification option available either – which would help keep scammers away from unsuspecting singles looking for love on their platform.
What about photos? Are those manually reviewed by PositiveSingles staff before going live? Again – not likely! And as far as privacy goes… let’s just say you might want to think twice before signing up with them because their policy leaves much room for improvement (and potential data breaches).
All in all I’d give PositiveSingles an F when it comes its safety and security measures – or lack thereof! If you’re considering joining this site then my advice would be: don’t do it unless you like taking risks with your personal information and/or identity theft isn’t something that concerns you too much…
User Profiles
If you’re looking for a dating site that offers something different, PositiveSingles might seem like the perfect choice. But after trying it out myself, I can confidently say – don’t bother! The user profiles are pretty much public and anyone can view them. You’re also limited to setting a custom bio if you have a premium subscription – which is definitely not worth the money in my opinion.
The location info provided on each profile isn’t very detailed either; there’s no indication of how far away someone is from your own location or any other way to measure distance between users. Plus, there’s no option to hide this information so privacy-wise it could be an issue for some people who want their whereabouts kept private while using online dating sites.
As far as benefits go with having a premium account? Well…let me put it this way: If I had known what was included (or rather excluded) before signing up then I would’ve saved my hard earned cash! There were absolutely zero perks when compared with free accounts – apart from being able to set your own bio but even that felt quite restrictive since only certain words were allowed in order for the text box content validation checker thingy majiggy (whatever they call it!)to pass through without throwing up errors every time you tried saving changes made on your profile page. Ughh!! Talk about annoying!!!
And lastly let me tell ya’ll about fake profiles….I encountered plenty during my testing period! They seemed just too good to be true and most likely weren’t real people at all because none of them ever responded back once contacted via message etc.. So yeahhh…..you get whatcha pay fer right?! That said if y’all still wanna give PositiveSingles ago despite everything written here then by all means knock yourselves out but personally speaking its one big ol’ waste o’money n’dont forget ta bring yo raincoat cos chances are yer gonna need ’em sooner than later hahaa 😛
