User Profiles

I recently tried out YouFlirt, a dating app that promises to help you find your perfect match. I was hoping for the best but sadly ended up with the worst! The user profiles are public and anyone can view them, so if privacy is important to you then this isn’t going to be your cup of tea. Plus there’s no way of setting a custom bio or hiding any location info – it all just gets broadcasted into cyberspace without any kind of filter!

The distance between users doesn’t seem very clear either; sure they might list their city in their profile but how do we know how far away someone really is? It would have been nice if there were some indication as to whether two people lived close by each other or not – especially when considering things like travel time and cost involved in meeting up.

As for premium subscriptions, don’t bother wasting your money on one because from what I could tell there aren’t many benefits at all – apart from being able to send more messages than usual (which isn’t exactly revolutionary). Oh yeah…and apparently having access “exclusive offers & discounts" which sounded pretty vague and suspiciously unappealing…

Unfortunately during my testing period I also encountered quite a few fake profiles too which made me question why these kinds of sites even exist anymore?! All-in-all it felt like an outdated relic that had been left behind by its competitors who actually care about providing quality services instead trying rip off unsuspecting customers with false hopes. If only they put half as much effort into improving the platform as they did coming up with clever marketing campaigns then maybe YouFlirt wouldn’t feel so flimsy compared everything else out there right now…
